Fund Update-Only 2 Weeks Left
There
are only 2 weeks left to make your gift for the
2007-2008 Malvern Fund. Remember the ALUMNI
CHALLENGE. We need to increase alumni
participation. For every percentage point over 14%, Don
O'Neill '57 and John Shannon '75 will make an extra
contribution of $1000 each to the Malvern Fund.
We STILL need to make it to 14%--we are SO
CLOSE, under 1% away from passing 14%! Make
a gift today, $5, $10, or $20 will
count towards increasing our participation. Every gift
counts! Your $10 gift can help secure $2000 more
dollars for the Malvern Fund. Make

Malvern
at the Shore: Reservations Required
Be
sure to mark your calendar for the Malvern at the Shore
event. We will be at the Princeton Bar and Grill in
Avalon, NJ on Saturday, August 2nd, 3-6 PM. There is no
charge for the event. It will include
complimentary food and a cash bar ($1 off drinks).
All alumni, parents, friends and family are welcome at
this casual summer party. You must be 21 to enter. We
hope you can join us! Invitations have been mailed. To

We
do REQUIRE you to respond in advance if you plan to
attend so we can provide an accurate count for
food.
Malvern
at Morey's Piers: One Fun Day Gives Hope for
Tomorrow

Malvern Prep has a
wonderful opportunity to have fun and raise funds for
the Christian Service Program this summer offered by the
Morey family, owners and operators of Morey's Piers in
Wildwood, N.J. On Sunday, August 3rd Augustinian
Day at Morey's Piers will be held. For
only $40.00 per person ($28.00 for children under 48
inches) you get full, unlimited access to every ride on
all three of their amusement piers and full access to
both water parks from 9:30 AM until closing. The
cost also includes a barbeque dinner on the pier at 6:00
PM. The normal cost of an all day pass is
$55. 00 without dinner. So this is a great
buy! And the good news is that the Morey family is
donating 100% of the proceeds to Malvern Prep's
Christian Service Program. Tickets are limited and
available on a first come, first serve basis. Call

Alumni Golf Outing: September 22
Fall
will be here before we know it. Invitations will be
mailed soon for the Alumni Golf Outing at Waynesborough
Country Club on Monday, September 22nd. Through early
alumni sponsors, we already have over 70 golfers
committed. If you are interested in becoming a sponsor,

the proceeds go to support the Fr. Duffy Augustinian
Scholars Fund; remaining dollars raised support events
sponsored by the Alumni Association throughout the year
